well, hello there!

there is no way that i'll be able to provide all of the details for my christmas break. suffice it to say, it was marvelous! i had nearly two full weeks of bliss and i'm still coming down from the high. here are a few highlights (in no particular order):

1) i spent many, many hours of quality time with my boy and my girls.
2) we saw the lion king at the murat. it was fantastic!!!
3) we saw high school musical 3 and bolt. both were great!
4) i got a gps!!!!
5) jas and i finally got a new vehicle. i wanted a van. he didn't. so, we settled on a jeep commander. it's awesome and i love it.
6) i spent some amazing time with one of my most favorite people ever - stephanie.
7) i took a lot of naps.
8) one of my bffs got engaged!!! congrats, mitz! :)
9) i realized just how special we are to some people.
10) we attended the christmas eve service at our own church for the first time ever. it was so quiet and calm and relaxed. i didn't want the service to end. i could have sang christmas carols by candlelight with luke and his guitar all night.

yes, it was a marvelous vacation! i'll leave you with two of my favorite pictures from my christmas break. the first is of stephanie, leah, and me. steph and i were sorority sisters back in the day. after graduation, she picked up and moved to california. currently, she lives in LA and i haven't seen her in years. we spent the day together and had a blast! my girls instantly fell in love with her and this picture (taken by alana) captures just how much fun we had.

this next picture is of baby angel. her kitten, troy, is the most laid back cat i've ever known. she came down the stairs one afternoon and announced, "mom, look! i'm a kangaroo and this is my baby!" poor cat.
