we would've won.

last night in class, we had to count off and be placed into teams of 2 for an exercise. there was one person left over, so my team acquired him. i wasn't thrilled with my team because the guy i was placed with originally is from india and has an incredibly thick accent. to add to that, he has a speech impediment which makes communication with him almost impossible. the second guy that we acquired has the personality of a wet mop. no, i take that back. his personality isn't quite that great. it's more like the brown, cruddy water that you put the mop into. yeah, that's more like it.

our professor told us to come up with a team name. "be creative," he said. i got a flash of brilliance and said, "let's do something with the acronym MBA. how about major bad asses?" i knew that my professor (and the rest of my colleagues) would've loved it. roy, the indian, smiled and chuckled a bit. dan, the water boy, looked at me and blinked. "oh, gosh, i don't know," he said. i came up with a few more names, but all of them were shot down by dan. my last suggestion was "tripod" since there were three of us. again, water boy just looked at me. "fine," i said as i watched every other group put display their names. "dan, you pick something then and just write it on the board."

he chose "tri."

every team voted on the name they liked best and the winner was "before & after." they chose that name because one member of the team was from baltimore and the other was from indy. the colts moved from baltimore to indy, so they called their team "before & after." okay, that's creative enough, i guess.

their prize?
they were dismissed for the night. they were dismissed to GO HOME nearly 2 hours early.

i could've knocked water boy's head off. we totally would've won for my M.B.A. name, dontcha think?

I echo mitzi.

Maybe you should be "The Dillweeds."

That's a weird prize, though - got to go home early from class?
