it's done - complete - OVER!

i did it! i completed my first semester of graduate school and it's a good feeling.

i took my stats test last week and ended up with an 'A' in the class. that's a relief!!

my org management class met last night for final group projects, papers, and presentations. my partner, mitesh, and i had been working very hard to make sure it was perfect. we were lucky enough to score meetings with a few higher ups at the colts organization, so we did our final project on them. it was fun, but ten tons of work! mitesh and i wrapped up our paper and presentation on tuesday night. after we got it done, we popped open a celebratory beer and congratulated ourselves on a job well done. those beers were very much needed and very much deserved.

overall, our presentation went well. our professor likes us too which is always a plus, as he grades harder on those who aren't so much on his good side. i think we'll do fine, but we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

our household has been hit with the sickies. leah had the flu last week and alana had something weird over the weekend. on monday, i was in the bathroom every 5 minutes, but felt better on tuesday. yesterday, however, was another story. i only ate a bagel yesterday and just felt so, so sick. (mitesh assured me that if i passed out during our presentation, he would drag my body to the other side of class and finish without me. i thought that was a kind gesture, don't you? thankfully, it didn't happen!) today, i'm feeling better, but i'm still a bit queasy. have i ever mentioned how much i hate winter?

not much else is happening. i'm super excited to be finished with this semester and to have a whole month off from classes!! i'll have nearly 2 weeks off for christmas vacation and i'm super ready for it to come. and now, with classes out of the way, i finally feel like i can begin to enjoy the christmas season.
