it's the middle of may!?!?

my goodness! where has the time gone? it's not even summer and the months are just flying by. we've had a busy past few weeks. alana celebrated her 4th birthday, complete with another high school musical cake (this will make the 2nd consecutive year she's wanted a HSM cake). we went to the circus...we went bowling...we went roller skating. we've had so much fun and our schedule doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. and now i think my girls were geniuses when they decided they didn't want to play softball this summer. i can't imagine throwing practices and games into the mix.

summer sessions for my grad classes started on monday. i'm continuing to take 2 classes this semester as well. i still have a long way to go (as in 5 more semesters, not counting the one that just began this week), but i'm proud of myself for coming this far. it's hard being a full-time employee, a full-time mom, a full-time wife, and a part-time student. it's hard, but i'm managing which is all i'm going for right now! i got my first 'B' last semester (damn that econ). i was disappointed, but glad i broke the seal. now, i'm not putting so much pressure on myself to be perfect.
